A couple of points I'd make is to try to use more semantic mark-up 
instead of excessive div's.  One example is the div id=headline: it 
would be better to use h1 here as it is structurally used as the main 
heading for a document.  You can then style that using css.

Also try to keep the heading levels in numerical order.  In your html 
you have started with h3 which should be used as a 3rd level heading.
  


It looks like you've addressed Emma's comments.  The only thing I would 
have to add to hers is:
Don't rip off Dan Cederholm's header image from www.simplebits.com.
