Hi List,
Just wanted to announce the launch of my new site:
www.thanksgivingbuffet.com - an all CSS layout and
validates as XHTML 1.0 (uh with the exception of 2
validation errors due to some Javascript on the post
comments page. If anyone knows any work-arounds on how
to make the site validate and the Javascript still
work, please let me know).
I also wanted to shout out Special Thanks to a few
people on this list that really helped me pull it
together with this site:
Rick Faircloth, for the many suggestions and tips
ranging from encouraging me to target IE6 when I felt
daunted by its challenges, implementing a PNG
transparency script to using conditional statements
and everything in between. :)
Georg - Gunlaug Sørtun, for helping with the
overlapping positioning of the pumpkins graphic.
Shelly from foolishvisions.com, for tips on turning
some of my background PNGs into GIFs instead, in order
to still have the transparency effect I was seeking
work in all browsers.
Anna Vester for helping me solve the PNG stretch issue
encountered in IE6.
And really the whole list for the wealth of
information and being such an incredible resource :).
