On Sun, 16 Jul 2006, David Kastrup submitted the bigfoot package to CTAN. This will-publicized bundle is now available from CTAN for the first time. Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/bigfoot Summary description: bigfoot bundle for typesetting footnotes License type: GPL Announcement text: -- This is the bigfoot bundle for critical typesetting, consisting of the packages bigfoot, perpage and suffix. The package aims to provide a "one-stop" solution to requirements for footnotes. It offers: -- Multiple footnote apparatus superior to that of manyfoot; -- Footnotes can be formatted in separate paragraphs, or be run into a single paragraph (this choice may be selected per footnote series); -- Things you might have expected (like \verb-like material in footnotes, and colour selections over page breaks) now work. perpage supersedes perpage.sty in macros/latex/contrib/misc, the latter was removed to avoid confusion. -- Thanks for the upload.
