We see various aspects of ourselves. Other animals see little of
themselves. Higher animals for example may respond to mirror images but
these perceptions are short-lasting and not very meaningful.
We see much of ourselves but how far can we go with this self-perception?
If we can see ourselves in toto, then we are "we"?
Next, consider the distinction between de facto and de jure on the web
site below. A smoking gun is a fact but it is evidence for nothing but a
smoking gun unless we have de jure definitions of other concepts like
"bank hold up", "murder" etc.
The fact of self is one thing but the de jure definition of self before an
Ecclesiastical Court is another matter. Given that such a judgement based
on THE de jure definition of self-worth is what assigns us to our rightful
place in Paradise, and that we align our activities for the short time we
spend on this planet/this-side-of-death accordingly, then we might well
ask what THE de jure definition of self-worth is.
If we don't know, how can we do "all for the glory of God" (I Cor) or
"pray without ceasing" (I Thes). How can we make service to God a way of
life on all levels from individual to the complete society?
The Cockroaches of Churchianity flee the light of day and will not so much
as give us a hint as to what a Canada "founded upon principles that
recognize the supremacy of God" would be like. Ron Grey of CHP and the
rest of the NOW TV Cockroach Crowd just say, Give us your money and praise
and all will be well. Turn on, tune in and empty your pockets.
But now we have Kevin Kreuger taking God's name in vain in the BC
Legislature. Do these religion fraudsters have no shame? Is there no end
to their blasphemy?
But let us suppose KK were not a fraud. We could ask him to tell us what
just one model city built anew in BC would be like if it were a "City of
God". He would give us a good answer: one that might pass as a term paper
at TWU even without plagiarizing.
Imagine a "Winter City" in the north and on the BC-Alberta border as the
hub fr some new norther development to which we could decant from the
south of BC and Alberta. What would it be like if designed in God's
service? Does anybody care? Not Churchianity Today.
