Cheers, Dan The Countryside Alliance comprises of members of the British aristocracy, ruling class landowners, fox hunters and fascists. Last year, with the threat of a ban on hunting with hounds, they mobilised a demonstration in London which attracted around 285,000 landowners, farmers, hunt supporters and coerced rural workers. Also in attendance were members of two fascist groups, The British National Party and The International Third Position who gave out around 25,000 copies of their "British Countryman" magazine. There was practically no opposition to this demonstration thus ensuring that the Bill to ban hunting was defeated by conservative media coverage portraying a bill against hunting as being an attack on the rights of country folk and interfering in the ways of the country. To combat this, UrbanResponse has been set up to co-ordinate the animal rights and anti-fascist movements in the UK to physically obstruct the demonstrations of the CA. We plan to go wherever they go and to reveal to the public the true anti-working class and racist ideals of the CA.
