-Caveat Lector- Thousands Flock to Tiny Village to See Reported Apparition (Hanoi, Vietnam-AP) -- Catholics say the Virgin Mary has appeared at a remote spot in southern Vietnam. Buddhists say no, it's Buddha they're seeing. Officials say actually, it's just a rock. Whatever it is, thousands of people have flocked to a village where children reported a human form in the mountains. That was September 23rd. Since then, throngs have traveled to the area to get a first-hand look. A police officer at the scene says local authorities and the Catholic Church have told everyone that what they're seeing is a natural phenomenon.
