STRAIGHT TALK FROM TEXAS

PEOPLE, PEOPLE - PLEASE!! You have got to get focussed. The government is
giving you another spin. I do not defend oil companies and I do not
represent the organization OPEC. I only wish to give the credit of "PUMP
PRICES" to the proper authority.

In Texas we are currently paying 20 cents per gallon on gasoline for STATE
TAX, and we are paying 18.7 cents per gallon for FEDERAL TAX. That is a
combined tax rate of 38.7 cents PER GALLON on gasoline. Pump 10 gallons and
you have paid $3.87 in tax regardless of the price of the fuel, currently
available for around $1.07 + TAX ($1.45). Pump 10 gallons at $1.072 totaling
$10.72 and pay $3.87 tax on that $10.72 purchase which now becomes a $14.59
purchase (10 X $1.459 = $14.59).

In Texas we are currently paying 20 cents per gallon on diesel fuel for STATE
TAX, and we are paying 24.4 cents per gallon for FEDERAL TAX. That is a
combined tax rate of 44.4 cents PER GALLON on diesel fuel. Pump 10 gallons
and you have paid $4.44 in tax regardless of the price of the fuel.
Currently available for around $1.21 + TAX ($1.65). Pump 10 gallons at $1.21
totaling $12.10 and pay $4.44 tax on that $12.10 purchase which now becomes a
$16.59 purchase (10 X $1.659= $16.59).

Each State will vary on its taxes. It's also up to you to find out if you
are paying any special environmental taxes, as well as city or county taxes.

The government has done nothing to earn more than the oil companies. They
have nothing invested! They did not take part in the cost of exploration.
They did not invest in the production nor the expenses incurred for
production. They did not invest in the refining of the product nor the
expenses to do refining. They did not invest in the marketing of the
product, nor the expenses for marketing. The only thing the government did
was sit on it's FAT BEHIND and count the TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS
rolling in. They TAXED the product through every stage of its development
(Natural gas production tax, Oil production tax, and Utility taxes), and
still held out its hand for more as your hand touched the pump. The State
and the FEDS both make more per gallon than the oil companies and their
subsidiaries. What we need to see is the ACTUAL PRICE posted on the signs,
thus allowing the consumer to knowingly pay the tax.

Now, I do believe in the very, very near future we will see and experience
the effect of the major oil companies' investments in building refineries in
foreign countries. Currently we are shipping crude oil to the United States
and doing the refining here in the States. I think this will change soon.
The oil companies will operate at a greater profit margin: less government
regulation, less taxes, and cheap labor. By shipping a refined product from
overseas the American refineries will become as extinct as the American steel
mills. And the higher the value of the product being shipped in will also
increase the governments intake, and place America's dependence on foreign
nations. And before you say this cannot happen nor never will, let me tell
you that any nation who would make its citizens docile by injecting fluoride
into their water systems, or using its citizens as test rats, turn its
monetary system over to a private banking cartel, pledge its support to and
for One World Government, fraudulently coercing people out of their money
through the guise of unconstitutional income tax, allow every branch of its
government to become vile and corrupt, and place the people under
dictatorship through presidential executive orders, will and can do whatever
it wants to.

Now, back to oil and taxes. I'm sorry I got sidetracked.

According to the Texas State Comptroller of Public Accounts - Carole Keeton
Rylander - the State of Texas reported that the State of Texas collected
$488,582,960.00 in 1999 for natural gas production tax. In 1998 they
collected $574,584,435.00. The State of Texas collected $210,812,798.00 in
1999 for oil production tax. The State of Texas collected $265,797,547.00 in
1999 for utility taxes. In 1998 they collected $241,739,264.00.

The State of Texas has a $5 TRILLION++ SURPLUS! The State of Texas could
operate indefinitely without charging another cent of tax on anything. The
government could sustain itself just off the interest and investments of the
$5 TRILLION +.

Do you folks realize when gasoline pump prices fell to 88 cents the tax
remained at its current level? Do you realize how many gallons of gasoline
and diesel are pumped nationwide day to day, week to week, month to month,
year to year??? TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS of gallons. Where does this money
go? You say highways and bridges? Hardly!

Oh, and by the way, the federal government collects anywhere from 13 to 18
percent TAX on every barrel of oil imported to the United States.

You may wish to visit the OPEC web site at: <A

http://www.opec.org/193.81.181.14/xxx1/WebUpdateFiles/Text</A> for graphs,
charts and more details. Now why do you think the federal government
presents such a strong case for dependency on foreign petroleum? MONEY! Why
do you think the federal government regulates production and exploration
within the United States? MONEY! The federal government will not allow new
coastal and inland drilling in certain areas of California and Alaska because
there is no import tax. America has enough petroleum for exploration and
production to last the next 300 years.

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!
