Senate Bill Will Make Minor Computer Hacking a Felony Penned the "Internet Integrity and Critical Infrastructure Protection Act," bill number S. 2448 will make minor computer offenses felonies opening the door for the FBI and Secret Service to investigate. Other bills that the Senate is attempting to sneak by include the further expansion of wiretapping authority, which includes allowing the federal government to seize the house where the offending computer is residing, and making all computer crimes a predicate for wiretaps.
