Colonel Edward Mandell House
"Colonel" House, a Texas plutocrat, blueprinted the conversion of the
American government from egalitarian republicanism to state socialism. The
conversion itself occurred in two steps: (1) Attaining control of the
national money system by means of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913; and (2)
assumption of over-all control of the economy by the federal government,
which began under Franklin Roosevelt and the New Deal.
House, a shadowy figure who is practically unknown to the American public
these days, was one of the most influential men in twentieth century
American politics. He engineered the election of Woodrow Wilson to the
presidency; he played a key role in the formulation of the Federal Reserve
Act; he represented Wilson in the negotiations that finalized the disastrous
Treaty of Versailles; also, he was one of the invisible king-makers behind
Franklin Roosevelt. Like Darwin, Herbert Spencer and many other key figures
in the Scientism/Global Socialism movement, Col. House was chronically ill
much of his life. During Wilson's last two years in office, Edith Wilson
banned House from the White House.
According to Gurudas, House helped establish the CFR [Council on Foreign
Relations], and in a book titled Philip Dru, House said that his goal was
for "socialism as dreamed of by Karl Marx." The book "described a
'conspiracy' to capture both political parties and use them to create a
socialist world government. The plan included electing a president by using
'deception regarding his real opinions and intentions.' Written in 1912, the
book called for a graduated income tax and establishing a state-controlled
central bank. These laws were passed in 1913, and many other goals outlined
in the book also became reality. House called for a one-world government,
one-world army, and one-world economy ruled by an Anglo-Saxon financial
oligarchy ...."
