Subject: [MIT-OpenCourseWare-Discussion] Re: [CI] Teachers Talking

The teachers in Nigeria might be interested in studying Introductory
Computing Science. The course at
<http://www.geocities.com/AI_TEACHING_MACHINE> is putting lectures from
COMP 1002 at BCIT on a web site. The student then has to subscribe to the
associated email list to get the finer details and of course "practice
makes perfect". If students do all that, they will be able to write
challenge exams and get credit for Introductory Computing Science at any
university in BC and expectedly just about anywhere else on the planet.

It is free compared to the $500+ this course costs at BCIT.

Why do we do it? Opencourseware/Opensourceware is a global
social-political movement and POC has made this part of its platform.
