About a week ago there was a dramatic police take-down on Hastings Street
in front of Save-On meats. When I arrived it was about 1/4 of the way
through.
There was a back SUV which had pulled up behind a white pickup. There were
four MIB "police" in the SUV dressed totally in black. Three were pointing
pistols at the two Indian men in the SUV. The fourth was pointing a rifle
or shotgun. They went through the procedure of handcuffing, searching etc.
This incident was on neither the 6 o'clock nor 11 o'clock BCTV news. What
happened?
Do you think we could lose citizens this way to the "Patriot Act",
citizens whose asses could go south so fast they wouldn't get a chance to
kiss their shorts good-bye?
