$42,726,882 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus fixed-fee contract modification to provide for Programmable Armament Control Set (PACS) production program lots 3-5. Under this effort, the contractor is required to build and provide retrofit kits for the F-15E modifications required for installation of the upgraded line replaceable units (LRUs) for the AN/AWG-27. The PACS buy includes retrofit kits, conformal fuel tank retrofit kits, spares LRUs, spare umbilical, support equipment, data, interim contractor support, organic deport support, GFP repair and warranty. Additionally, the PACs upgraded hardware must be certified for nuclear weapon capability. McDonnell Douglas will perform this effort at McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis Miss., and Hamilton Sunstrand, Windsor Locks, Conn. At this time, $16,948,120 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete by December 2006. Negotiations were completed November 2002. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-00-C-0014, P00010).
