-Caveat Lector- Its interesting in the histtory of science, how many good ideas have been rejected,not because of the absence of data but because of the inadequecy of theory and the laziness and scepticism of the scientific community. Continental drift was rejected for many years in the west because the originator proposed tidal effects as causing it. In the east it was rejected because it didnt fit in with dialectic materialism. Strange claims require higher proof, but also require the scientific community to explore with an open mind. The same thing applies to conspiracy theories .
