However, the drawings of the wounds to the skull found on page 5 of the Foster autopsy report show fracture lines indicating that there were two impacts to Foster's skull occurring at two different times. Dr. Beyer's drawing on page 5 of the Foster autopsy report shows two intersecting fracture lines. One is transverse to the skull, running anterior-left to posterior-right and the other runs from the cross-hatched area towards the transverse fracture line. The second fracture line terminates abruptly at the transverse fracture line. According to the University of Utah Internet Pathology Laboratory For Medical Education1, "subsequent fracture lines will not cross a pre-existing fracture line"2, indicating that the transverse fracture occurred before the fracture leading from the cross-hatched area. On November 17,1993, Dr. Randloph H. Robertson, M.D. a diagnostic radiologist, testified before the The Committee On Government Operations regarding his analysis the original radiographic and photographic record pertaining to president Kennedy's autopsy. Dr. Robertson told the committee that the fracture patterns on Kennedy's skull were necessarily caused by two separate impacts, based on "the fact that a secondary series of propagating fractures has to stop abruptly at their intersection with the gap created by a preexisting fracture" (see this page: http://home.cynet.net/jfk/rob.htm ): ... This pattern of intersecting skull fractures leaves no doubt that the damage to the President's skull is inconsistent with only one bullet entry and was necessarily caused by two separate impacts. ... The principle is simple and relies on the fact that a secondary series of propagating fractures has to stop abruptly at their intersection with the gap created by a preexisting primary fracture. This analysis of intersecting fracture lines is the first correct interpretation of the evidence which explains the discrepancy between the location of the wound of entry by the autopsy pathologists and subsequent review panels and allows the deduction of two separate bullet wounds to the President's head.
