DISEASE UPDA TE available information, both DoD and CDC recommend that people with cardiac conditions should not receive smallpox vaccination at this time. DoD has updated our informational and educational products. You will find the revisions by using the hotlinks below. Matching CDC criteria, DoD adopts screening criteria based on multiple cardiac risk factors. These criteria are reflected in the revised Initial Medical Notes (Screening Forms), also with links below. Each installation needs to actively find and replace the previous versions with the revised versions. This especially applies to trifold brochures and screening forms: make new copies and discard (recycle) the outdated versions. Installations should print own supply sufficient for use until they receive a supply from the MILVAX Agency. We will professionally print large quantities of trifolds, which should be available in approximately 2 weeks.
