LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A man opened fire with a submachine gun in a
Jewish community center Tuesday and hit five people, severely wounding a
5-year-old boy before escaping and evading hundreds of police aided by
dogs and helicopters.......Authorities, who originally described the shooter
as
tall, young and wearing a black shirt, later changed the description to say
the
man was bald, about 40, wearing green clothing.

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (UPI) Los Angeles police say a bald fortyish white
man with a large mustache walked into the lobby of a Jewish community
center in suburban Los Angeles and opened up with an Uzi-type automatic
assault rifle, wounding three little boys, a teenage girl and an elderly
employee before vanishing.....In the early confusion of the shootings, the
assailant was described as a teenager, but Police Chief Bernard Parks, who
arrived at the scene with Mayor Richard Riordan, said the early description
was
incorrect.

An *eyewitness* to the shooting described the assailant as a TEENAGER
wearing a BLACK shirt.
Why did the description of the gunman suddenly change several hours later ?
"Confusion" or cover-up?
Also, why are the FBI and BATF involved ? There are shootings and murders in
Los Angeles all the
time (sometimes involving children), but the FBI/ATF usually don't show much
interest. There are a
lot of very *odd* things about this case........I smell a rat!!!
