Oliver "Buck" Revell, former Deputy Director of the FBI, is suing me and Gene Wheaton, a former Tulsa Police officer and Army C.I.D. investigator. One passage Revell's suing us for is a quote Wheaton gave me during an interview (reprinted below, following article). The other is that I claimed - as did numerous others, including Paul Hudson, the head of the U.S. Pan Am 103 survivors group - that Revell yanked his son and daughter-in-law off the ill-fated plane. Buck agrues that he didn't yank the kid off the plane, he merely changed his reservation. I may have gotten the details wrong, but many argue that the essential facts are correct. I have a entire folder of comments about Buck from a whisle-blowing former FBI agent, who laughed his ass off when he read Revell's book, "A G-Man's Journal," and pointed out his lies and hypocracies. I suggest you read the readers' reviews about Buck's book on Amazon.com. Buck is suing us for $1,000,000 each! (good luck. I can't even pay my phone bill!). He wants me to sign an affidavit stating I was libelous. I refused. Feral House backed down under financial pressure. You've all heard that story before. Recall how the San Jose Mercury News backed down after it exposed the CIA's drug running? Feral House is a small shop, and can't afford a lawsuit. As for Buck, he has a long and sordid career, according to some, including acting as FBI damage-control point-man for Ollie North and his Contra operation. Discovery should be VERY interesting.
