I don't quite understand what about the situation described would have brought
the attention of the police.  No one could have seen any possible gun in the
girl's lap by casual glance, so I'm curious to know if sitting in a car with a
flat tire and the motor running is against the law in some way.  It get's
harder and harder to know just what the police expect of American citizens.
Jaywalking without ID, sitting in a car with a flat--I wish there was some
list we could get that would warn us of these new crimes.  Prudy
