You don't hear about what they do to the Kosovo Serb population in the media do you?!?- Oh and nato admitted recently that it had exaggerated serb crimes in Kosovo I suppose killing serbs is allright so long as it is for a good cause (a good cause being defined by media of course) Serb boy killed on the Liplian-Kosovo Polie road August 28, 2000 Kosovska Mitrovica, August 27 - At about 1 pm today an 8-year-old Serb boy was killed and four other boys severely injured by an ethnic Albanian driver on the Liplian - Kosovo Polie road in the village of Skulanovo, Center for Peace and Tolerance in Kosovska Mitrovica stated today quoting amateur radio operators. The attacker drove his vehicles into the group of children, whose names are listed below, with the obvious intention of running them over. As a result, the children sustained serious physical injuries, broken arms, legs, head injuries and are currently hospitalized in Kosovo Polje. The youngest child, an eight year-old boy, died as a result of inflicted injuries shortly after the attack. The child killed is 1. Nikola Nikolic, age 8 years Seriously injured are: 2. Srdjan Krstic, age 13 years The child killed, Nikola Nikolic, was a refugee from the Serb village of Babliak near Urosevac who was staying with relatives in Skulanovo. The sources of this report are radio amateurs from Skulanovo and the priest serving in Kosovo Polie, Father Radivoje Panic. This informaiton was received in Gracanica Monastery at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2000. The Serb National Council of Kosovo and Metohia most strongly condemns this terrorist attack which according to eyewitness testimony was not a traffic accident. After the attacks on Serb children in Crkvena Vodica and Staro Gracko, this is the third attack on Serb children in the vicinity of Pristina during the past week and shows that the goal of the terrorists is to encourage the Serb people to leave by creating confusion and panic as a result of threats directed against children. PRESS RELEASE Pristina, August 27, 2000 AN ALBANIAN KILLED 1 AND WOUNDED 4 SERB CHILDREN IN KOSOVO Today, around 13.45 CET an unindentified Albanian killed 1 and wounded 4 Serb children in Skulanovo village 15 km south of Pristina. Driving his red Opel Kadet Susa without registration plates an attacker hit into a group of Serb children who were walking by the village road. The witnessess say that the attacker had a clear intention to kill the children. The attacker immediately left away the scene of his crime with his car. All 5 children got serious wounds and fractures. The youngest, Nikola Nikolic (8) did not survive and died on the way to the hospital. The wounded children are: Marko Talic (14), Jovica Talic (16), Ivica Talic (16), Srdjan Kristic (13). Serb National Council of Kosovo and Metohia has resolutely condemned this cowardly and disgusting crime which is the third attack of Albanian extremists against Serb children in Kosovo in the last week. Two days ago, SNC requested more intensive KFOR patrols and protection in the areas frequented by Serb children. 75 YEAR OLD SERB KILLED BY ALBANIAN TERRORISTS IN KOSOVO TODAY After today's terrorist attack in which 1 Serb child was killed and 4 wounded a new terrorist attack occured in Crkvena Vodica village 8 km west from Pristina. It was the same village in which Albanian terrorists threw three grenades on Serb children last week wounding 15 children, 8 of them seriously. At 18.30 CET 75 year old Serb PAVLE NEDELKOVIC from Crkvena Vodica was killed by a machine gun fire from an unindentified car which immediately disappeared in direction of Albanian dominated Obilic. Nedelkovic was in his field very close to the village and the road when he was suddenly killed at the spot. This terrorist attack of Albanian extremists has created even more uneasiness, fear and confusion among the local Serbs who have not recovered yet from the last week's attack on their children. Although Bishop Artemie and the Serb National Council requested immediate additional deployment of Norwegian KFOR troops in the area and installing of additional check points according to the testimony of the local Serbs nothing significant has been changed to the better and the village remained more or less unprotected. This serious failure of KFOR makes the international peace keeping force responsible for the reiterated terrorist attacks which happened in the same village in only one week's time. ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics www.ctrl.org DECLARATION & DISCLAIMER ========== CTRL is a discussion & informational exchange list.
