Wanted: Military Horror Stories
WorldNetDaily has been better than nearly everyone else when it
comes to chronicling the rapid deterioration of the U.S.
military. Whether it has been because the military cannot find
enough personnel to fill the ranks or because of traitorous acts
committed by the Clinton administration, most people agree that
these days, the U.S. military is hurtin' and hurtin' bad.
Only the details are missing from this horror story. And I want
them.
Americans are not going to get the truth from other mainstream
press sources, the Pentagon, the White House, or Congress about
just how badly our forces are suffering from being over-deployed
in an overabundance of bad situations -- few of which have
anything at all to do with our national security. And this at a
time when America is potentially facing her worst threats since
becoming a nation 230 years ago.
Meanwhile, we continue to pay these people like paupers
(recruits) while Congress has no problem giving themselves a
raise damn near every single year the issue comes up for a vote.
In my opinion, we ought to be paying congressmen, the president
and the vice president $1,200 a month and giving our troops a
hundred grand a year.
So if you're currently in the military -- any branch; makes no
difference to me -- or recently separated and you have a story to
share about current military readiness and supply problems,
"hollow" units or overstretched resources, e-mail me in
confidence. My goal is to assemble these examples in a format
presentable both to Congress and the American public, in a way
nobody can deny.
