Feature window: open (but shorter than usual)
Hi friends, The clock is about to turn Monday here in a bit and we now officially open the feature window for the coming 7.77.0 release. Use it wisely. Due to the shorter release cycle this round, the feature window will only stay open for 16 days this time - it closes on May 5. There are already many pull-requests queued up right now that want to get merged, so please join in and help us get them in best possible shape so that we can land as many of them as possible in time. There will for sure be some that won't make it in this time, but for them there's always the next window! curl 7.77.0 is due to ship on May 26, 2021. Hi friends, We've had a few bugs reported on the 7.75.0 release, but they've mostly been about build failures for various build combinations that I deem not crucial enough to warrant any rushed follow-up patch release. Some of the refactors in the last cycle simply confronted the reality that we have extremely many build combinations used out there and lots of them are not tested and verified in CI or by users before release.
