I have been handed a chuck-out ubuntu 14 server, so I thought I would try NetBSD-7.99.60/amd64. It has some mvsata0 at pci5 dev 1 function 0: Marvell 88SX6081 SATA II (rev. 0x09) mvsata0: interrupting at ioapic1 pin 1 mvsata0: GenII, 2hc, 4port/hc controllers, and dies on boot with mvsata0:0:0:
