Unrelated(?) to the above, I got a weird error when I was trying to copy the file system to the usb stick. I didn't use the plain usb image including MBR, since I didn't want to burn a whole stick on this. Instead I prepared a stick with a NetBSD MBR partition already set up, and copied the filesys
