I find that "/etc/rc.d/dhcpd restart" hangs. TERM no longer seems to do
the trick. Adding "sig_stop=KILL" to /etc/rc.d/dhcpd does the trick, but
wasn't necessary last year...
Just an observation.

Hello,
My dhcpd isn't serving requests anymore and /etc/rc.d/dhcpd restart
hangs. My best guess is that it is fallout from the bind-9.13.2-P1
update because a new version of libisc came with the update.
I installed dhcpd from pkgsrc and that works for now.
Anyone else?
Kind regards,
-Tobias

Yes, Ryo fixed it in:

Thanks!
I did an update yesterday after reading your mails but I still have the
same issue.

named and nslookup look to be broken too.
Can any of you run
dhcpd
dig -h
successfully on a recent -current?
(Am I the only one seeing this.)

Has anyone seen dns dynamic updates from dhcpd working?
A previously working config (working in 7.99.71) does not seem to do dns
dynamic updates at my netbsd-8 installation.
Could this be a fall-out/regression from updating dhcpd or bind (dhcpd
relies on libdns from bind - and debugging

Ah, of course! Thanks so much for your speedy reply and patch!
I'll fix this in the next dhcpcd update, or you can
I'm getting the following error with today's -current (2014-06-27T21:16:06Z).
I haven't seen anything similar in recent automated build reports though
so I'm wondering if it's due to something specific to my build or not
(.e.g the -fstack-protector options?)
