during executing commands directly by using SSH? Or do I have to create a
bug report for this (as Larry Hall said in his email of January, 21st)?
You solved the problem in Cygwin v.1.7.0 about one and a half year ago.
Thanks in advance for a short information about this and

Replace a process level token

It does not work, if you give SYSTEM account all the rights! These
behaviour was described in the year 2007 in a CopSSH forum.
No further investigation is needed.

Other logon processes (e.g. mounting a network drive with another user
than the logged on one) do not transfer the group policies. Is the call
LogonUser() really the right one, we use for the login procedure?

Hello, Corinna,
large logon time means 45 - 66 secs during public key authentication
from viewing the banner text until an simple command has been excuted
(e.g. uname -a). Password authentication works
to conclude that the cause for the
behaviour is in the cygwin environment.

Hello,
on some servers (Windows Server 2003, SP2) we have the problem, that
the
passwd and group file are not interpreted correctly, obviously.
If I execute the tool id.exe without parameters, I get back the
following
line:
uid=400(username) gid
frequenzy one after
another (e.g. in a loop within a cmd-Skript), it works fine: id.exe gives
back the correct resolution of the user- and group-ids, the ssh logon
process works fine.
What could be the reason of such a problem?
Thanks for help in advance and

The authentication via password works fine on both systems!
The permissions on all the files have been adjusted and seems to be ok,
especially on ws2_32.dll everyone has read/execute rights.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thanks a lot in advance

Hmm, good question. I have a stock 2K3 Server installation running
ssh just fine. Probably you will have to look outside
and system permissions and everything seems to be OK.
Password authentication with the same user works well.
What could be the reason for this behaviour?
Thanks for a short information and best regards
