i have cygwin installed in my work laptop which runs windows xp

i have this weird situation in which if i create a folder in my documents
using windows tools then i cannot open the folder from cygwin(when i
logged in using ssh). but i create a folder in the c:\, then i can open
The issue is that members of the users group cannot connect to the
server via SFTP. The users can connect via SSH SCP when their
rights include the ability to write append data. When using the
SFTP command within the bash console, after the password is entered,
the connection immediately
