I am trying the snap 20050913 (uname -a: 20050913 15:38:54) on W2K
SP4 and it seems to work fine (in particular, no problems with RXVT).
I have noted only that the /dev directory does not appear in root (/) :
$ ls -lrt /
total 754

I have noted that testing several snapshots (20050906, 20050908, 20050909,
20050914) some simple application written in C++ does not work any
more. For example:
$ ./my_app.exe
bash: ./my_app.exe: Argument list too long
and my_app does not use any argument!
I remember that there was a snapshot
With the September snapshots, the following code:

#include iostream
using namespace std;
int main()
{
cout Hello, world! endl;
return 0;
}

If this program isn't too big (and I don't see why it should be) please

The Borland C++ 5.5 compiler, freecommandLinetools.exe, is 8.7 MB. It
should be downloaded from Borland site.
In any case also

For the sake of completeness, I have tried many times to build Emacs-CVS

The build is fine but emacs fail to start:

It would be a small thing to figure out which part is used on cygwin if
the config.h was available.
Every time that the build of Emacs-CVS is configured with:
... ./configure --prefix=... --with-gtk
it fails when starting (on Cygwin) in this way:
$ ./emacs-cvs

Please gives me some assistance to resolv this problem.
thank you very much.
The best solution is to flag your G95/Gulp problems directly to G95
guys: http://www.g95.org/
If you visit that page, you will find useful informations on how to send
a bug report and to who.
I have sent a few replays to this mail showning a link from which the
binaries can be downloaded but the replays do not shown on Cygwin list nor
I have received a message saying they were refused.
So this is a sort of test trying to understand the cause.
Cheers,
Angelo.
