Chris, Would you be willing to add the following symlink to the gcc package?
$ ln -s gcc.exe /usr/bin/cc
It would solve the following problem:
http://sf.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=681504&group_id=5470&atid=305470
and make the Cygwin gcc package more consistent with the Red Hat Linux
one (at least in this regard).
