Can you give XmHTML a try if it works with grace ?
Hi,
I have to report that XWin-4.3.0-66, which is a lot better
than previous versions with respect to errors in exiting,
still presents a bug related to the About and Exit panels.
$ uname -sr

If XWin is run as

Hi Harold,
I just posted lesstif-0.93.94-2 as a 'test' package.
Please download it tomorrow and very that it works correctly.
grace builds against it and works without the attempt to add
non-widget ... error. Nedit also starts and behaves like an editor.
If you get a chance, try it out with

I have discovered what I believe to be a bug in the window manager code
part of the cygwin/X server. It is an interaction between the
point-to-focus setting in Windows (a.k.a. Activation follows mouse in
TweakUI) and raising windows.
Scenario:

Hi,
currently I'm trying the xft stuff with windows true type fonts for cygwin/qt
and kde applications and it works really good.
I'm planning to release the next qt/kde releases with xft support enabled.
One thing I have noticed, is that a symbolic link from the windows fonts dir

Is the environment variable SYSTEMROOT guaranteed to be defined? If
not, you might be able to use WINDIR instead.

I'm running X11 successfully and am very happy with it.
One little issue yet remains.
Is there a way to start X in a way so that all (but one dedicated)
keycuts are sent to X11. eg I want that alt-tab does not switch
to another windows-window but is processed by X?

Now with the workaround of knowing to run startx -- :0 to get X to
start, I thought I'd have a poke about to see what exactly makes it
crash. I came up with several interesting problems.
In my .xinitrc I *don't* have an explicit path for xterm. However, I

Hi Harold, Takuma, Brian,
I have commited a 1-line fix (ok, 2 with comments) for this: when a
WM_WM_ACTIVATE is received by the winmultiwindowwm.c local event processor
