Core dump on X client start

After starting Xwin.exe without any command line options and exporting DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0, whatever X client I start will immediately coredump with a segmentation fault. See the files attached. No firewall software was active. What is going wrong here? TIA Andreas cygcheck.out Description:
