I started looking at the X.Org bugzilla when I first noticed the keyboard/mouse freeze, but then I realized I could not duplicate the problem using Xorg on Linux. The freeze only occurs with Cygwin/XWin. This has made me doubt that a fix could come from upstream, but perhaps that is not a good
