127.0.0.1 (localhost) is just a reference to your own computer, it's
supposed to be that way. You shouldn't have to change anything in your
configuration to fix that part

Check /tmp/XWin.log... I suspect you will see an error about the default
font fixed, or something like that. Check the FAQ for an answer to your
error message, then send in the bottom sections of your XWin.log file if you
can't fix the error on your own.
