Yes, is still a part of cygwin package. Do you use cygwin setup.exe? With this one I can still download rsync. You can find it also from http://www.cygwin.com/packages/rsync/ edu I am looking for a version of RSYN to run on Windows 98. It does not seem to be part of the Cygwin package

FWIW, I cut-n-pasted the sample code, compiled and executed with no problems other than a warning: TestXt.c:26: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast I am using the latest (4.2.0) development environment, LessTif 0.93.18-3 -- all from the setup.exe installation.

Your problems may be solved in the latest cygwin snapshot! Try it out!

You're not supposed to launch startxwin.bat from a Cygwin prompt, you are supposed to double-click the batch file from Windows Explorer or you can launch startxwin.bat from a Windows command prompt (not a Cygwin command prompt). Harold -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Harold, I am doing as you have said. I have now also downloaded the previous version of XFree and that seems to be working fine on the same machine. So I have no clue but perhaps the latest release has something funny with the configuration? I would not know how to tell. Martin. -Original
