I get these two errors from the log: could not init font path element usr/x11r6/lib/x11/fonts/100dpi and could not init font path element usr/x11r6/lib/x11/fonts/CID These are not really errors, just messages about not existing fonts. I assume almost everyone has these. Drag N Drop in Windows XP
Hi, I am run into this problem and can't find the solution after doing extensive search. I have a Java app running on a Linux RedHat AS 4.0. I'm telnetting to this java app from a Windows XP machine with cygwin as my xterm server. Everything works great except drag-n-drop. Everytime I try to drag something from one panel to the other panel within the same xwindows, the mouse icon changes to the little circle with a line across like a stop sign to indicate it is not allowed. If I try using Exceed as my xterm server, then everything works ok. Please let me know if someone runs into similar situations and how to resolve it. Hi I did install cygwin and Grass on windows XP at the weekend and accidentally deleted .bashrc file in C:\cygwin\home\setup and the file is not in my recycle bin. Can someone advise how i can get it back from the downloaded install files. I was installing Grass 6.2.1 Win/Grass with cygwin. i used the latest cygwin download from the setup program. Also would like to know to edit it as i know very little about unix.
