To make XWin compile succesfully using the git sources from Xorg (>7.3),
I have created a patch. (See below for url)
I encountered the following issues:
Overloading Xfont functions: Starting up XWin would fail with errors

No special steps.
(Windows 2003 is very compatible to XP)
