looking at the startup log, I don't see the X-Security extension being initialized. Is it not supported? Also, perhaps more important for me is the message: 2009-12-15 10:39:27 XFree86-Bigfont extension local-client optimization disabled due to lack of shared memory support in the kernel NT

This is rather strange and I don't even know if I have a correct repro. The symptoms I see is that I am able to copy in X (XEmacs or xterm) and paste in Windows but not vice-versa. Immediately after I start X copy/paste works both ways. I suspect this has something to do with Microsoft Visual
