I also created the file c:\Documents and Settings\a-siehei\.Xresources with these contents on a different computer Xterm.*.saveLines: 3000 Xterm.*.scrollbar: true I already pointed out one problem with this. However, ".Xresources" depends on how X is started - perhaps cygwin uses it... (The ".Xdefaults" file tends to get more use). -- Thomas E.
