I know I can do

So there isnt a big reason for me to want to do it within cygwin.. But i'm

Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (x64)
Cygwin version:
$ uname -a

man displays man pages very slowly - for example man ls takes about 45s to
display.
Any ideas ?

The idea behind -l (and no arg) was to show ALL disks. If you
specify a disk, you no longer see all displayed.
