It’s tempting to view QAnon’s rise as a threat to America’s democracy —
especially with a believer poised to win

 a seat in the House of Representatives. But history suggests that
conspiracy-based movements have been a part of the U.S. democracy since the
nation’s founding.

Long before the modern Republican and Democratic parties held sway, a
succession of others rose and fell. In between, smaller fringe movements
surged, often embracing some pretty bizarre conspiracies. Eventually,
though, the QAnons of the past didn’t take over mainstream parties. Rather,
their entry into the halls of power led to their absorption — or,
alternatively, excommunication — by more mainstream parties.

The historian Richard Hofstadter was one of the first to highlight the
significance of “paranoid” politics in a now-famous essay

 in 1964. Such conspiracies, he observed, invariably hold that a secretive
cabal of elite insiders intends to corrupt and destroy the nation. QAnon’s
satanic pedophiles working from within the “deep state” is squarely in this
tradition.

Conspiratorial thinking first gained traction in U.S. politics in the late
1790s, when the New Englander Federalists, their power on the wane, became
convinced that Illuminati members headquartered in Europe were plotting to
destroy the new nation with their trademark secularism. A strange coalition
of Federalist politicians and congregational preachers joined together to
sound the alarm.

I do care a lot about a neurosurgeon  - he used to be one of my best
friends before his marriage -  and the innocent surgeon who thinks I am a
rational person.  Sweet boy.

My best friend for years and years was an addicted doctor, Mirimir.  That's
the reason why I learned a bit about chemicals, my love.  He committed
suicide and my world became stranger than ever for a considerable time.

You know I do hate lies and labels, but I was "his sweet high school
girlfriend" in public.  In real private life, he was gay and had more
boyfriends than me and all my friends together.  But you know, he was a
successful doctor and needed a perfect image: - white, male, hetero...  He
was buried using an Armani suit and red roses, our favorite flowers.  I
still love him and miss this fucking bitch a lot.

Hahahaha!!!  _He_ is a fucking _amazing_ surgeon!!!  I made some specific
researches about him.  :D

I was an hyperactive child and was banned of schools because of it.  I love

love my body.  It survived to real sick shit and is keeping me alive very,
very well.  Amazing healing capacity, wow...

Something was wrong and now I know what is and it makes me pretty happy.  I
can't fix it by myself, but life is funnier than ever because I know I
won't die:  I will run on beaches again, watching the sea and the sun
rising, darling.

(I just need to win a judicial battle first...  'Meh' things, you know.  I
am wasting my precious time with bureaucracy, aff...)

Please, I know it's very shocking to see Chuck Norris - aka God - using a

As a little sad boy said much before me, "I see dead people".  It's always
disgusting to say goodbye to corpses, but someday it will be my time of

Virus or not, there is something killing my friends, but despair, panic,

I do love the Sciences because I have strong personal reasons for it.  My

Psychological pathology or not, the hysterical behavior and the panic of

Devastating physical pain and considerable emotional pain too.  It hurts,
it is frustrating when, after years trying to discover what is happening
with your body, you finally receive an answer, and do need to fight against
the State and the private health plan you contracted a decade ago and is f*
expensive.  Just for economic reference, I could use this money for
visiting you once a month before all the COVID-19 stuff.

At least, I do love my lawyer.  When I look to the mirror, she still smiles
to me, even working for free.  I am an egocentric bastard and I still
remember how life is sweet when you don't feel any pain.  First, I will get
the freedom back for me.  After it, without pain, I will try to get the
same sweet sensation for other people.  Nobody deserves to feel pain and/or
fear, darling.

In the moment, I am not a so good writer like I used to be and it's pretty
scary for me.  In the last three months, my doctor and I tried several
medicines for avoiding the extreme levels of pain, but the chemicals make
my writing so... hmm...  meh!  :-/

And there are stupid mistakes, specially in French, because I learn a
language using its sounds first, not its writing...  Or, at least, try to
do it.  Sorry, my fault, I know I am a disaster with all languages, in
special German Sauerkraut recipes!  My last try exploded in the kitchen a
few days ago and my nose is still screaming, full of horror...  :-/

So, I prefer the pain and a, more or less, decent writing in Brazilian
Portuguese, my native language, even being slower.  My English always

PS:  - Just in case, I was not using stupid masks.  They were feeling bad
and, in some way, watching my face was comfortable to most of them,
specially the children.  They always think I am funny.

I gave up Criminology area when much younger, before ending the Law degree,
because of a kid's corpse.  It was fucking brutal watching it.  His father
should protect and love him, not kill him.  It was the second dead child of
my life and definitely it was enough, but had to watch more children
corpses in the last months.  And lots and lots of people older and younger
than me.

And, I ask pardon, but now I am completely sure that my life is a
disgraceful shit, but I do love it.  I do love being alive.  It's always
fucking interesting and my memories are part of who I am now.  My memories,
fears, and traums can be scary or sad, but are important part of my life.
So I can live with them pretty well, I think.  Or I die trying it.  ;)
