There is a compatibility issue when using cyrus sasl with perdition, ..
Perdition sends CAPABILITIES before the OK, thus sasl authentication drops
out, due to unknown message type.
Any chance to fix that in the next release? Can I submit a pull request or
something?

Is this something I should consider squeezing into next Debian stable with
upstream version freeze in November?
Current plan is to stick with 2.4.x for Debian jessie, but if 2.5.0 will be
stable enough from beginning I can still fit it in.
