The Win32 smoke failure below is caused by http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git/commitdiff/226de47
which assumes paths returned by File::Spec->catfile contain a '/'. On Win32, harness now dies with the message '..\ext\Attribute-Handlers\t\constants.t' at harness line 215. There's an obvious fix for Win32, but is something fancier needed to work on the likes of VMS too? > -----Original Message----- > From: Steve Hay [mailto:steve...@planit.com] > Sent: 11 August 2009 01:08 > To: smokers-repo...@perl.org > Subject: Smoke [5.11.0] blead-1817-g5b48f78 PASS-so-far MSWin32 > WinXP/.Net SP3 (x86/2 cpu) > > Automated smoke report for 5.11.0 patch > 5b48f78c51c77f1ce79e9b542433a4daa2433457 blead-1817-g5b48f78 > maldoror.bath.planit.group: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz(~2660 > MHz) (x86/2 cpu) > on MSWin32 - WinXP/.Net SP3 > using cl version 12.00.8804 > smoketime 1 hour 15 minutes (average 7 minutes 30 seconds) > > Summary: PASS-so-far > > O = OK F = Failure(s), extended report at the bottom > X = Failure(s) under TEST but not under harness > ? = still running or test results not (yet) available > Build failures during: - = unknown or N/A > c = Configure, m = make, M = make (after miniperl), t = make test-prep > > blead-1817-g5b48f78 Configuration (common) - > DINST_TOP=$(INST_DRV)\Smoke\doesntexist > ----------- --------------------------------------------------------- > ? ? -Duselargefiles > ? ? -Duselargefiles -Dusemymalloc > ? ? -Duselargefiles -Duseithreads -Uuseimpsys > ? ? -Duselargefiles -Duseithreads -Uuseimpsys -Dusemymalloc > ? ? -Duselargefiles -Duseithreads > | +--------- -DDEBUGGING > +----------- no debugging > > > Locally applied patches: > SMOKE5b48f78c51c77f1ce79e9b542433a4daa2433457 > > Compiler messages(MSWin32): > Cwd.xs(77) : warning C4101: 'symlink' : unreferenced local variable > ListUtil.xs(197) : warning C4101: 'magic' : unreferenced local variable > > -- > Report by Test::Smoke v1.39 build 1235 running on perl 5.11.0 > (Reporter v0.035 / Smoker v0.044)
