I may have been a little too optimistic when I said "in the coming
days" in that last message :-)
I can say now with more confidence that in the coming days, I am
actually going to create the 2.14 branch and start the release
process.

Sorry for the delay!
In the coming days I am going to create the 2.14 branch, review the
patches that are currently on the bug tracker and see if we can make a
2.14.0 release.

some weeks ago to the OpenBSD ports tree should be enough to build
darcs-2.12
