Note that this issue is still not fixed in NVIDIA 331.67-2, a workaround is, after installing the NVIDIA driver with standard GNU/Debian apt-get, to do: $ sudo modprobe --force-modversion nvidia-uvm This will force the loading of nvidia-uvm until a proper fix is put in place by the Debian develo

Pascal, thanks for sending the fix around. Are you going to file a Debian bug report for this? It seems that the newer version (experimental, 334.21) is still missing the uvm module and therefore does not support OpenCL support. Cheers! -

Ok, problem understood and solved. This is GNU/Debian packaging issue. To fix, the safe way is to wait for a new package which should fix this issue. If you want to solve this now: # cd /usr/src/nvidia-current-331.67/ # vi dkms.conf Add at then end: > # uvm > BUILT_MODULE_NAME[1]="nvidia-uvm"
