At first, I obtained the same result with the latest version :
1.7.0+1228~gb01d061. Attached the log file.
But I did further testing and after printing once an image with
modified margins, the problem was gone even with a new darktable
session.

Other strange things are happening:
PDF-Printer (with landscape picture):
Switching LT-Print resets all changed margins to 15mm.
Switching DR-Print resets all changed margins to 15mm and switches to
portrait modus.
HP-Printer (with landscape picture):
