[darktable-user] Best distro for DT?

I have new SSD-disk. First i install Windows 10. I've been using Gentoo, but it is a difficult and slow to install. I'm thinking to try something else. Can I install Grub on the hard disk /dev/sdb and system / dev /sda (solid state disk)?
