Hi, the new kernel 4.14.11 comes with the PTI patches. There are reports which indicate that these patches can have a severe performance impact (e.g. https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article=linux-415-x86pti=1) I did some benchmarks with DT. I am using Manjaro with latest kernel
