Kovacs was right. I found a style named Standard which had among other
modules, the crop and rotate module. So I deleted it and exported again
and achieved the expected results, I am deliriously happy. Thank you
Kovacs. I still have no idea how I had a "Standard" style in place.

DT does not change the RAW file. If you are observing that the RAW file
was corrupted - you may be having file system issues or disk issues.
(assuming no other software was used on the RAW file).

restoring it, after a few attempts it worked, miraculously. DT has also
