on my images which includes Nikon and Pentax. However, by default I use the
preset wavelets chroma only with great success for the color noise. I then like

Mostly, I'm using my Pentax DSLR, and the denoise module does what it's
supposed to do.
As a second camera, I sometimes use a Samsung NX3000. If I use the
"denoise (profile)" module with default settings, it not only removes
the noise, but way too many details.
