If the only thing you want to do is to add GPS data, probably darktable is not the best tool for the job. You need a program that deals with the metadata of the file without touching the image data, like exiftool or exiv2 or any mapping app built around them. Maybe look at digiKam for this. Best

Hi, I'm geotagging photos I have in JPEG, but find no way to just export them tagged without recompressing. There's the copy export format, but it seems to export the original JPEG, without the getoag. How can this be done with Darktable? Thanks a lot in advance.
