tried the upgrade as the path is reported in the pop-up message! :)

All the information on file level is preserved in .xmp - if you keep the
.xmp you can restore the processing.
If you want something more - I'd keep the complete darktable folder. On
Linux it is .config/darktable likely similar on windows but under home
folder programs and features or something

I'm looking for a darktable backup guide or instructions but can't find
any. Could someone point me to some help?
I'm running darktable v3.4 on Windows 10.
